I had eyelash extensions done about 2 months ago and I love them! I was told by the eyelash technician that for the first time the extensions will last between 1 to 4 weeks. Then after a refill, it should last 4 to 6 weeks. I had to get a refill after about 3 weeks. Now I am waiting to see how long these extensions will last me. The technician said first time application usually does not last as long is because you have to remember not to rub your eyes, not to sleep of face down, and not to use oil-based products, etc. Once you are aware of your delicate lashes, it will usually last for 4 to 6 weeks.

I have been wearing eyelash extensions for about 3 months now. My boyfriend and I just love them. The only thing is they are a pain to go in for fills every 2-3 weeks. These are very addictive, just like fake fingernails. I do my own nails with Nailene So Natural nails so safe some $$ but I can’t exactly put on semi permanent extensions on myself. They are expansive but for me it is worth to have long lush lashes 24/7 at the a cost. I am in the public a lot so I love the length and volume they provide to get me noticed.

Eyelash Extensions, done properly can last up to 3 months and require no mascara. The best way to go about getting them done is to find a certified salon in your area. I am a lash stylist and I have clients that range from women with very sparse eyelashes to clients who have very thick long eyelashes. If you wear mascara, then eyelash extensions are the next step. You wake up in the morning with your “eyes” on is the best feeling. Soon eyelash extensions will be as common as acrylic nails. If you have not tried them you may want to investigate them a little more.

I have been using eyelash extensions, and love them. They were applied by a trained Lavish Lashes stylist. But the last 2 applications have created tremendous irritations, where my eyelids are red, itchy and swollen. I don’t understand since I had used these successfully for 6 months. Why this is just now happening… Anyone have advice on what to use to minimize this irritation? Will Lash Belong glue give me the same reaction?

I got in the habit of going to a salon to have my eyelashes put on about once a month. (I have short lashes) They do glue them on but I absolutely love them You don’t have to wear mascara and I always got compliments. Haven’t gone in a while. Now I only do for special occasions. I think the cost where I go is $35 and last for about 1 week. Not bad when you consider you don’t have to pay/wear mascara.

I use to go to a salon and have the individual lashes put on but the hard, black glue that was used took out ALOT of my lashes. I’m trying to grow them back and this method seemed like a way to get the look that I’m use to (with a better variety) without sacrificing my precious lashes. I now only use strip eyelashes only with a hypoallergenic glue.

I like the idea of eyelash extensions. I have not tried this but I would love to. It seems much more permanent than the false eyelashes. I would be afraid of pulling them out if I had them applied. After reading who has had them, I don’t think that I can look at celebrities the same.

Everyone’s experience will differ based on day to day activities but overall the lashes should say on for 1 to 2 months. Touch ups are required every 2 to 3 weeks. It is a painless, relaxing procedure that lasts between 60 to 120 minutes. The entire procedure gives you 80 to 100 lashes per eye. We charge our clients $150 to $300 depending on how many lashes are applied.

The biggest advantage of getting eyelash extensions Is that you would not need to wear mascara. If you fee you must wear it, only make sure to wear water-based ones. Do not use any oily or waterproof ones.

THE IRRITATION IS MOST LIKELY COMIMG FROM THE CHARCOL THAT IS IN THE GLUE.
THE TECH MIGHT HAVE CHANGED GLUE PRIOR TO WHAT WAS BEING USED WHEN NO IRRITATION ACCURED. THE ONLY OTHER THING THAT WOULD IRRITATE YOUR EYES IS IF YOU GET A LASH TECH THAT IS NOT EXPERIENCED AND GLUES EXTENSIONS TO THE LID ITSELF. THE CHEAPER THE GLUE, THE MORE PROBLEMS YOU WILL HAVE. I AM A LASH TECH BY THE WAY AND HOPE I HELPED YOU A BIT.
